Melena Moore Gilbert - Owner

In June of 2017, Melena purchased Bliss Organic Day Spa from her dear friend and Bliss Founder, Annie Carouba. After working with Annie, first as the Marketing Director, then as Operations Manager, her wildest dreams came true and she took ownership of her destiny and is proud to own the most beautiful and relaxing spa in Sonoma county!

Melena got her start in Marketing in a spa environment, so the work she does at Bliss is close to her heart. Her experience serves her well in the organic, wellness environment she loves to sustain at her spa.

Living in Northern California with her husband, Sam Gilbert, and their two young sons is her idea of true paradise!

Annie Carouba - FOUNDER

After a career makeover, Annie became an Esthetician in 2007 and continued her education by becoming a Certified Oncology Esthetician in 2011. The need for a specialized service to offer to clients dealing with cancer was a strong motivation in the creation of the spa and its services. Annie started the entrepreneurial spa life with a friend in one small room off the square of downtown Sebastopol. In 2012, she decided it was time to make the leap to her current location and create a luxury organic spa in downtown Sebastopol. The spa struck a resonate cord with the locals as well as visitors to the area and was successful from the start. Bliss Organic Day Spa has won "Best of" awards for Sonoma County five years running; the last four years being Best Skin Care Spa!
